Death of 28-Year-Old Ahwazi Man Hussein Ghafi Following Arrest and Alleged Torture

Hussein Ghafi (Silawi), 28 years old, son of Adnan, and a resident of the Zarqan area in northern Ahvaz, was arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) at his workplace, a tea kiosk, and later died as a result of alleged torture.

The arrest took place during the recent conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.
The charges against him reportedly included filming areas that were subjected to shelling and having connections abroad.

Hussein Ghafi had been paralyzed in his legs and was the sole provider for his family, supporting them by running a small tea kiosk.
