Iran’s Revolutionary Guard intelligence forces in Ahwaz have arrested Abdul Majeed Salem Al-Silawi along with a large number of individuals from different areas of Ahwaz, accusing them of belonging to the Sunni community. The detainees were reportedly taken to secret IRGC-run solitary confinement facilities before being transferred to Sheiban Central Prison in Ahwaz following periods of interrogation and alleged physical and psychological torture.
Amid internet blackouts and ongoing wartime conditions, IRGC forces in Ahwaz have reportedly intensified arrest campaigns across Ahwazi areas since Eid al-Fitr. According to reports, many young men from Kut Abdullah were detained on accusations related to attending group prayers and exchanging Eid greetings.

- Karim Abu Shaker Al-Sumairi
- Saeed Abu Abdullah Al-Sumairi
- Abu Masoud Al-Badawi
- Abu Yasser Al-Hazbawi
- Abdul Majeed Salem Al-Silawi
- Adel Al-Boughabish
- Uday Abu Omran
- Hindali Sohaib Al-Zubaidi
- Karim Abu Moataz Majdam Nader Al-Zubaidi
Reports indicate that all detainees are married and have children, while their families say they have been denied visitation rights for more than a month.
