According to reports, US President Donald Trump informed Congress that the military strikes on Iran are limited, deliberate, and carefully planned.
The reported statement says the operation is designed to minimize civilian casualties and that the July 7 strikes were conducted under his constitutional authority as Commander in Chief.
Trump also reportedly stated that US forces remain prepared to take additional action if necessary, while emphasizing that American ground forces are not participating in the strikes.
