Urgent Call for Blood Donations After Explosion at Bandar Abbas Port
Bandar Abbas — Following the devastating explosion at Rajaei Port, authorities in Bandar Abbas have issued an urgent appeal for blood donations, highlighting a critical shortage of negative blood types, particularly O-negative.
The Hormozgan Province Blood Transfusion Center has called on all citizens to step forward and donate blood to help meet the immediate needs of hospitals and emergency units treating the injured. According to the latest statement from the Emergency Organization, at least 516 people have been reported injured in the blast.
Medical officials warn that the situation remains critical, and swift public response is essential to save lives.
