Nationwide protests continued across Iran for a fourth consecutive day on Wednesday, with fresh demonstrations reported in multiple cities amid a heavy security crackdown and growing calls for regime change.
Protesters took to the streets in Esfahan, Hamadan, Babol, Dehloran, Baghmalek and Pian, chanting slogans against Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, voicing support for exiled prince Reza Pahlavi, and commemorating protesters killed in previous uprisings, including Artin Rahmani, the teenager slain in Izeh.
Videos from Esfahan showed nighttime crowds chanting “Don’t be afraid, we are all together” and “Death to the dictator,” while demonstrations in Dehloran and Baghmalek featured pro-monarchy slogans such as “Reza Pahlavi,” “Javid Shah” (“Long live the Shah”) and calls for Khamenei’s overthrow.
