Public outrage is growing in Iran after security forces opened fire on two vehicles near a military base in the city of Khomein, killing four members of a family, including a three-year-old girl.
Officials claimed the cars were deemed “suspicious” by guards at the facility, prompting the deadly shooting.
Local authorities later confirmed the victims as Mohammad-Hossein Sheikhi, his wife Mahboubeh Sheikhi, their young daughter Raha, and Farzaneh Heidari, believed to be the sister-in-law of the family.
