Azerbaijani authorities have foiled an alleged plot linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that aimed to carry out multiple attacks inside the country. According to reports, the plan included sabotaging the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan oil pipeline, attacking the Israeli embassy in Baku, and targeting Jewish sites.
Several suspects were arrested in connection with the plot, and security forces reportedly seized three explosive devices that were allegedly intended for use in the planned attacks.
