British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has issued a strong warning against the Iranian regime, describing it as an “unacceptable threat” to the UK’s national security. This comes after three Iranian nationals were charged under national security laws following an extensive counter-terrorism operation.
Speaking before Parliament on Monday, Cooper stated: “Let me be clear — we will not tolerate growing state-backed threats on UK soil. The Iranian regime poses an unacceptable threat to our domestic security, and this must not continue.”
She emphasized that the UK will take a firm stance, saying: “The UK will not accept any form of Iranian state-sponsored threat activity within our borders.”
