Young Man Found Dead After Burning Khamenei’s Photo, Iranians Accuse Regime of Murder

A young man from western Iran, Omid Sarlak, was found dead shortly after sharing a video of himself burning a photo of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. While authorities have claimed his death was a suicide, many Iranians on social media are calling it a state-sponsored killing.
During his funeral crowds in the western Iranian city of Aligoudarz, in Lorestan province, chanted “Death to Khamenei” during the funeral of Omid Sarlak, a young man whose body was found shortly after he posted a video burning the Supreme Leader’s image.
